Custom Homes & ADUs

Custom homes and accessory dwelling units built for Florida weather: impact glass, reinforced roofs, moisture-smart assemblies, and a budget you can see the whole way through.

Add an ADU. Add income. Add value.

Most detached ADUs in South Florida land between $210,000 and $310,000 all-in for about 600 square feet, built to hurricane code. A one-bedroom brings an estimated $15,000 to $30,000 a year in gross rent at 2026 market rates, before vacancy, taxes, insurance and maintenance, and subject to your city's rental rules. The rules are set by your city or county, not the state. We handle the rules.

  • Your city or county's ADU ordinance and permitting, handled start to finish
  • Hurricane-rated and code-compliant from day one
  • Fixed-scope pricing, so you know your full cost before you commit
  • Designed for rentability and resale
Why Spire

Level. Plumb. Square. On the number.

Press and hold the level. When it reads plumb, that is the standard every Spire job is held to.

7.0° off
Press and hold, or hold the space bar, until the level reads plumb.

One number up front

Fixed-scope pricing with open books. Changes get priced and signed before the work happens, never after.

A photo every day

Daily logs, progress photos and a client portal. You will never have to wonder where your project stands.

Owners on site

Bill and Gary run the job, not a junior super. Fifty years of building between them, and both pick up the phone.

Permits and inspections, handled

We run the permit and inspection path so you do not have to. Occupied buildings stay open while we work.

Straight answers

The questions owners actually ask.

Your quote is higher than another bid. Why?
Low bids in Florida are usually incomplete bids. The gap comes back as change orders once your options are gone. We price the whole scope up front, in writing, and show you the breakdown.
How do you handle change orders?
In writing, priced, and signed by you before the work happens. Never after. If nothing changes, nothing changes on your bill.
Who runs my project day to day?
One of the owners. Bill or Gary is on your site and on your phone from the first estimate to the final walkthrough.
Are you licensed, insured and bonded?
Spire Constructors is a Florida Certified General Contractor, license CGC1539625, current and active. Look it up on MyFloridaLicense.com. We carry general liability and workers' compensation and will send certificates naming you as holder. Ask us about bonding for your project and we will answer in writing.
Can you work in an occupied building?
Yes. Medical offices, restaurants and retail stay open while we work. We phase the job around your hours, control dust and noise, and sequence inspections so your opening date holds.
How many projects do you take on at once?
Only as many as two owners can personally run. If we cannot give your project senior attention, we tell you before you sign, not after.
How do I know your subs get paid?
Lien releases with every draw, from us and from every sub. You never pay for work that is not in place, and nobody can lien your property for a bill we owe.
Do you build outside Florida?
Our principals have delivered projects in Florida, Kentucky, Arkansas and New York. Spire is licensed statewide in Florida and takes select projects nationally.
